SIGMA PHI EPSILON

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY
CELEBRATING 105 YEARS IN BETHLEHEM
ABOUT PENNSYLVANIA EPSILON

Dear Brothers,
Currently in it’s 107th year at Lehigh University, the Pennsylvania Epsilon, SigEp has earned the Buchanan Cup for excellence in all areas of chapter operations (the highest achievement a SigEp Chapter can attain) five times, in 1963, 1985, 2003, 2009, and 2011. The Buchanan Cup is awarded once every two years, and the chapter is striving to bring the Cup back to Lehigh once again. In order to do so, brothers are constantly striving to uphold SigEp’s national mission statement: “Building Balanced Leaders for the World’s Communities.” Chapter members are heavily involved in campus organizations outside of SigEp and many also hold leadership positions in organizations such as Student Senate, Greek Emerging Leaders, Orientation programs, and Engineers without Borders. Our brothers continually strive to excel both individually and as a unit. The example our chapter has set for years has resulted in SigEp being one of the most respected fraternities on campus. Last Spring, 22.2% of brothers made earned Dean’s List Recognition and the chapter had the fifth highest GPA of all fraternities (3.143). Sigma Phi Epsilon truly is a place where good men enter, and better men leave.
As the Spring 2015 semester is almost upon us, all brothers are engaged in working toward our overarching chapter goals. Our chapter will be primarily be focused on revitalizing our Election for Cancer Research philanthropy. The past few years, brothers have noticed a decline in participation from the campus as well as from brothers. We are determined to organize activities that will successfully elicit more support from chapter members and the contemporary campus. Additionally, brothers are ready and excited for the upcoming freshmen recruitment period in January and February.
We encourage any family, friends, and alumni to stop by whenever in the Lehigh Valley area to explore the house, catch up with the brothers, and learn more about what we are trying to accomplish as a brotherhood. Our doors are always open.
Sincerely,
Connor Bradley
Chapter President
